Lancaster, PA – Landing Zone (LZ), a brand new tactical laser gaming facility, will begin their soft opening on July 14, 2014 with their Public Grand Opening slated for early August. This revolutionary and modern facility in the Lancaster area features an indoor arena for technologically advanced live action tactical laser games with state-of-the-art equipment and flexible gaming areas that can be reconfigured for various types of combat games. Landing Zone is similar to paintball and airsoft, but so much better and without the pain, mess or cost.

Landing Zone also offers an in-house café. The Arsenal Grill serves high quality food made available on a full service menu. This space supports Wi-Fi capabilities within a comfortable lounge area, an arcade and three modern and comfortable party rooms. The private rooms are available for parties or corporate events. Along with the indoor arena, Landing Zone hosts an outdoor mobile gaming service that allows customers to have the LZ experience at a location of their choice.

Landing Zone owners, Terence O’Conor, Jeff Thornton, and David Wood, set out to bring unique family entertainment to the Lancaster area while supplying a realistic and high-level strategic and virtual gaming experience.  “We’re extremely excited about our grand opening because nobody else is doing what we’re doing in the Lancaster County area. It’s the type of entertainment that is popular with many different age groups. We’ve worked hard to make sure the facility and the equipment is top-of-the line in every aspect,” explains O’Conor.

In addition to the great health benefits of live action play, the Landing Zone experience is unique because it encourages strategic thinking, cooperative play, and team building. Games can be tailored to certain age groups so everyone can participate. In addition to gaming, the facility provides a fun, safe environment for families to hang out and socialize. “We want our guests to have the best experience possible from the start. From the moment you walk in the door, play the game, and enjoy the cafe or a party, you’ll be fully immersed into the Landing Zone experience. There’s something for everyone here,” according to O’Conor.
